Norwich is a growing city.  It still keeps the charm of a country town, with the facilities of a major city.  It's said that there are 365 pubs, one for every day, and 52 churches, one for every Sunday.  The range of restaurants, bars, cafes, night clubs and music venues will keep the evenings very full.

There are excellent arts, with theatres, galleries and art centres, and many heritage sites including the castle and two cathedrals.  The shopping is some of the best in the country.  The city centre is almost completely pedestrian, with the expected range of high street stores and an unsurpassed range of independent shops.

The Norfolk Broads, Britain's newest national park, stretch to the coast from the east of Norwich.  They are served by walking and cycling routes and watersports.  The Norfolk coast, a short journey by train, bus or car offers glorious beaches and coastline.
